Without proper project management it’s not possible to complete / deliver any product / project on time with benefits as required or demand by any organization. As all of us knows that every project has selective time period and budget – if we are unable to deliver / complete project on time it’s not possible to benefit from it as required / demanding. So, without proper project management it’s not possible for anyone to deliver project on time. For the same purpose you need to learn related to project management so that you can complete your project on time, within budget with given resources.
Document each and everything to complete project
Documentation is the key for the success of any project – most of the people not take it serious and they start project without document their projects. Such people and organizations never complete their project on time within budget. These type of resources always spend much time and efforts to complete their project because they are unable to identify critical paths because of less documentation / non availability of procedures and processes.
Keep in mind without having right knowledge related to project management and project definition it’s not possible for any company / individual to complete project on time within budget. So, why not to implement all strategies and documents those are required to capture project requirements and details, so that other team members can understand requirements without wasting time and efforts. Most of the time we observe that very few resources capture all requirements and when they leave, there is nothing left behind so that any other resources understand that particular project to execute/develop.

Every project starts from idea or based on requirement – but that’s not matter how requirements comes. It is mandatory to collect proper information and document each and everything so that you can select milestones and to complete project on time within budget. To achieve target and to get outcomes of documented project you need to observe, find, extract information to design a plan to engage relevant teams to achieve goals.

There is no such specific type of any project for that particularly you need to document things – every project demand your attention and need proper documentation. So, that you can achieve outcomes accordingly. If you want to design a corporate level application / project, you should document each and everything so that everyone play their role while working or try to achieve goals.

Without hiring technical project manager it’s not possible for anyone to complete project on time within budget. Because when we don’t have any resource who manage all things related to project. No one care about points those are not pertain to them – its reality when we discuss about any project / task that means there would be a project owner who own things. Only project manager is a resource who can enlist each and everything and track the update on each item. So, don’t forget to hire technical resources who can manage your project or learn how to manage project so that you can manage things and track each and everything.

Domain experts
Most of the people think that software developers are the technical so they are domain expert – don’t forget specific domain / business knowledge always capture and collected in shape of software requirements. Because there is not a single software developer who really know about business processes and all about businesses. So, whenever you have plan to start software development for any specific business requirement. Don’t forget to engage highly professional and senior resources, so that they can share the right and accurate information. We observe that most of the organizations engage lower level staff or resources those are useless for them. Collect user stories
Business users can’t share software requirements because they don’t know how to share right information and how to deal with project development team. So, use the user stories technique to collect the right and latest information related to project. If you are not expert to extract information through user stories, it’s not possible for you to transform end user / business user requirements to software requirement.

Collection of documents / formats
Most of the organizations have multiple formats for single process and they use these documents on different time. Even some of the resources use multiple forms because different resources on higher position require that type of different forms for approval. When technical team collect information from such organizations they receive multiple form for single work – in this situation don’t entertain such forms firstly get final copy of requirement and use that for further working / development. Because sometime few fields create a major impact on application while developing software.

Deep analysis of domain / project
Once you collect all information related to project don’t forget to analyze requirements – explore information related to same domain. So, that you can get the right information by exploring same industry / market. For the same purpose you should conduct meetings with professionals those are working in same industry.

Identification of tasks
Most of the time we observe that resources don't know about their assignment that what will they do for that particular project. If same happen in your project believe me it will become difficult for you in near future to complete this project. It's right time to take right decisions and spend time with documentation so that everyone can understand / capture their own task with timelines.

Availability of resources (already developed project / application)
Utilize / hire resources those are working in same industry from last few years because without having right resources on right place. It's not possible for anyone to develop / deliver any useful project. For the same purpose it is recommended to hire professional resources those can help you to become successful. Never engage resources those create negative impact on your project at any level.

Availability of software developers (if software project)
Select / choose technology after market research it should be scalable and development team of that field easily available around you. Because most of the organizations select latest tools and technology and for learning purpose multiple resources attached with them for time being. On later stages when they reached on some later stages unable to find right resources to complete / finish that software application. So, be open and research market at first so that you can choose right direction on early stages. Because it creates huge impact on later stages when we didn't study market and choose any random technology and tools.

Type of task / assignment
Each task should be defined and elaborate along with details, so that individuals’ user can track and complete their tasks separately. Keep in mind without detailed definition of tasks it's not possible to complete project on time within budget.
